FACTS VS. OPINIONS. It's hard to distinguish the two. And if you're not that smart enough, it may get you into trouble.

Let's focus first on facts. Facts is is something that has really occurred or is actually the case. The usual test for a statement of fact is verifiability, that is whether it can be proven to correspond to experience. Standard reference works are often used to check facts. Scientific facts are verified by repeatable experiments. The word fact derives from the Latin factum, and was first used in English with the same meaning: "a thing done or performed", a use that is now obsolete. The common usage of "something that has really occurred or is the case" dates from the middle of the sixteenth century. Facts may be checked by reason, experiment, personal experience, or may be argued from authority. Roger Bacon wrote "If in other sciences we should arrive at certainty without doubt and truth without error, it behooves us to place the foundations of knowledge in mathematics."

An opinion, on the other hand, is In general, an opinion is a judgment, viewpoint, or statement about matters commonly considered to be subjective, i.e. based on that which is less than absolutely certain, and is the result of emotion or interpretation of facts. Opinion statements has 3 kinds; Valid opinion, Faulty opinion and Informed opinion.

There are different types of opinion.
-Hypothesis Statement
-Theory Statement
-Assumptive Statement
-Value Statement
-Exaggerated Statement

Hypothesis statement is an assumption made in an attempt to explain an observation. Theory statement is an opinion that is widely believed explanation for groups of observation. Assumptive statement is an opinion that is an improvable prediction. Value statement is any claim that is based on someone's beliefs. Exaggerated statement is one that embellishes the facts, often to sway the reader.

Now that we have discussed the differences of the two, Facts and Opinion, furthermore, we also elaborated the two. We are now confident enough and will not going to get in trouble distinguishing Facts and Opinion
